Petty Problems: Saying Goodbye

Unlike most of my friends from school I am actually going to miss middle school, also unlike everyone else I am leaving the 99.9% of my old classmates while they are all going to the same High School. On graduation day I was not actually realizing what was happening. This was the last day I might be able to see everyone. Now it makes me want to tear up a little ,but then my mind was still expecting a fun time playing games in computer class. I think it's the atmosphere I'm going to miss the most ,what I am actually glad to be leaving in the repulsive people there.Thank goodness I don't have to spend 4 years with those loons,but there are also friendships that could of turned into something beautiful but were cut from the stem too quick to blossom. The relief of going to a totally different school is one of most closest friends is joining me. Oh dear I hope high school is not too horrifying. -Alexa

Comparing My 10 Year old self to my 14 Year Old self

Lately I have thinking about all the things that I thought of or what I was going through when I was in the 4th grade and comparing them to now I think a lot of my opinions and my own appearance has changed a lot. Here are a list of thoughts I had and have now.

10 year old: Did not understand why girls liked shoes so much, didn't care for the beach, thought Victoria's Secret was weird and gross, no need for a purse, had narly teeth, wore headbands, afraid of being too old for my child stuff, wore weird clothes that I thought were cool, hated dresses, did not want have girl parts that you put in bras I really hated having to go through that in 4th grade, could never talk to strangers,or boys, never thought I would be able to kiss a boy, paleness, never could wear bikini's I was way too shy, just learned about gay people and people without religion in their life, did not go outside EVER, ate everything, frightened by bad words, chewed my nails, kind of looked like a rectangle, and just learned how to tie my shoes.

14 year old: Obsessed with shoes, wanting the beach quite often, thinks lace undergarments are beautiful, uses all kinds of purses, decent straight teeth, burns headbands, grown out of my child stuff, okay with my current silhouette, has to talk to strangers for other people, there is a chance I have kissed one,face is still pale ,but the rest has color to it (tan lines too), I don't think I look good in one pieces, likes going for walks and seeing clear skies, is conscious of what I put through my blood stream, doesn't curse ever, beforehand had braces so no more chewing my nails thank goodness, am currently an organic shape,just learned how to dress.

Why I Like Being a Teenager Chapter 1: Butterflies

                              

Many teens today say it sucks being a teenager, but I'm here to prove that wrong by telling you why it's awesome.

Crushes. Yes I said it and we all have had one whether it was a cartoon character or a grungy singer with horrible habits. 

At this age it's not wimpy to have a crush and want to stay far away from them so you don't make a fool of yourself. The feelings you get are very new, happy, and exciting feeling of butterflies in your stomach. Unfortunately every thing hits you hard as teen, but it teaches you to move on and find something new. There is also no need to ask them on a date or even let them know that you like them because teens should really not be dating for so many reasons. At this age it's probably the best experience you can get no material item or object can give you the same feeling as another human being. Nothing can compare to the first small feelings of love.
